For our March partner feature, we are highlighting Eurofast and we had the opportunity to speak with Antonis Gavrielides, the CEO of Eurofast Group. Eurofast first started in 1978 and was developed in a regional business advisory organization with more than 44 years of expertise in professional services with local advisors in 24 cities across South East Europe and the Middle East. Eurofast’s services include Tax & Transfer Pricing, Payroll & Employment, Accounting & Compliance, and Advisory & Corporate. Antonis emphasized the importance of Eurofast’s mission to provide the best quality of service to their clients and value their experience from start to finish. Antonis has had an impressive career with Eurofast, with 12 years of experience in various roles such as country manager and director, which led him to his position today. We were curious to know how his experience has been with Eurofast and how their organization has grown during the past years. Antonis stated that Eurofast Greece first started out with just a few employees but as they expanded their specialization into their professional services they were able to implement new ideas and to grow exponentially. Antonis mentions that part of Eurofast’s success is due to their ability to assess the industry and be one step ahead of their competition. A true example is that  Eurofast provided EOR services prior to COVID, which is a great, innovative, move due to the increased demand for these services today.

Due to COVID, Eurofast had an operational shift on how they would provide their services and personalize them to each client’s needs individually. Eurofast created specified solutions for organizations with new payroll systems and provided support to designing how these systems would deliver the best reporting. The group has been established as a one-stop-shop for organizations in need of professional services, with a vast network of expertise to support any solution. We were curious to know if there have been any challenges along the way. Antonis mentions that one of the challenges he has dealt with during his role, is maneuvering the different company cultures that are involved in their various locations. Any organization that has many office locations in various countries, along with hundreds of employees who work there, who speak different languages, follow different customs, and cater to different markets, there can be a disconnect when it comes to a cohesive company-wide culture. Antonis brings up the best practice on how they’re successfully keeping teams and individuals connected and that  is through clear and constant communication of Eurofast’s vision and culture and how that translates into their own environment.

With such a wide network of locations, we were curious to know if Eurofast collaborates with partners often. According to Antonis Eurofast has a great network of partnerships that has broadened their portfolio and cemented their quality of services across jurisdictions. Eurofast takes pride in providing the best quality of services to their clients and partners alike, building a long-lasting relationship that is beneficial. Lastly, we wanted to know what’s next for Eurofast? To which Antonis discusses Eurofast’s expansion into new countries and markets, such as Lithuania and Estonia and their plans to extend their services into Latvia, along with introducing new service lines involving HR and payroll support. Antonis lastly emphasizes the importance of providing the best environment for Eurofast’s personnel by focusing on their overall culture, supporting employee growth, and making employees feel safe and comfortable.
